For pipe grounding, indoor use only
The earthing collar is an element that allows the connection of a ground or earth cable to a water pipe, gas pipe, or any metal conduit. The NF-DTU 61.1 French standard requires to connect gas pipes to the earth, in residential premises.
The earthing collar is made of a conductive metal hoop to be screwed against the pipe. Four models are offered, allowing use with pipes from 18 to 165mm in diameter. The cable is also screwed on, and is compatible with cross-sections ranging from 2.5 to 16 mm².
