To maintain the continuity of the earth circuit
These earthing terminals are designed to allow the continuity of the earthing circuit through a waterproof wall without compromising its impermeability. Indeed, the seal present on the "outside" rod prevents water from penetrating the concrete by capillarity. Connecting your conductor to each flange will allow the current to flow through the wall and dissipate into the ground.
MALTEP offers a wide range of earthing terminals and connectors for earthing concrete foundations. The ground terminal provides a point of access to the grounding network present in the foundation at the outlet of the concrete. Our connectors, available in different materials such as galvanized steel, copper, stainless steel, are simple, robust and quick to install conductor connection solutions. Our range complies with the NF EN 62561-1 standard: Lightning Protection System Components (LPS) - Part 1: Requirements for connection components.
